Following a significant period of growth in the country, ESC is delighted to announce that its Malaysia team has relocated to a new and bigger office space at KL ECO city in Kuala Lumpur. The new office location will strengthen ESC’s footprint in the region, allowing the company to better accommodate and support its growing clients and dedicated local team of EHS consultants.
In recent years, ESC has delivered a wide range of environmental, safety, and sustainability solutions across various industries in Malaysia. Notable projects include conducting environmental studies for Pengerang Energy Complex; construction safety consultation for the building of a data centre for a global tech giant; and environmental site investigation and groundwater remediation at a glass manufacturing facility.
Perhaps the biggest area of increased demand for ESC in Malaysia has been for its Sustainability and Climate Change services. Significant projects in this sector have included undertaking a Climate Change Risk Assessment (CCRA) for a private equity firm; and developing a Paris-aligned climate risk strategy for a petroleum company.
Khoo Boon Keat, ESC Country Manager for Malaysia, who led the official opening ceremony stated:

After the opening ceremony, a small celebration took place to mark this important step in the company’s regional expansion. The team bonded over a series of team lunches to celebrate their achievements.
With its new premises in Kuala Lumpur, ESC is trialling the use of coworking office space for its employees. The arrangement will provide the employees with improved flexibility, allowing them to take advantage of the benefits that come with having an open network.
