Assistant Finance Manager

Job Description 
As an Assistant Finance Manager in ESC, you will be overseeing regional finance and tax activities. Ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory and tax compliance, and effective day-to-day finance operations in line with group policies and local regulations.

 Job Responsibilities 

1. Financial Reporting

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close for regional entities
  • Review management accounts, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Prepare consolidated management accounts and supporting schedules for group reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of regional financial reports

2. Finance Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee AR, AP, payroll, and cash management across regional entities
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, statutory, and tax compliance
  • Assist in preparation of tax filings, audit schedules, and coordination with auditors and consultants

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Process Improvement

  • Assist in preparation of regional budgets and forecasts, monitor performance vs. budget
  • Analyse variances and support cost control initiatives
  • Identify process gaps, propose improvements, and support the finance team in cross-border operations

Job Requirements 

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA) preferred
  • 5–7 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a multinational or regional environment, with exposure to cross-border reporting, intercompany transactions, and multi-currency accounting
  • Strong financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance knowledge
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Xero accounting systems
