As Hong Kong’s economy improves, ESC is expanding its presence in the region in response to the growing demand for environmental, safety, and sustainability solutions.

Alexi joins ESC in Hong Kong as the company celebrates its 20th year in business and continues its strategic plan to expand its footprint in the wider APAC region. The company has been operating in Hong Kong market since 2010, having previously completed projects for public and private sector clients to deliver environmental, safety, and sustainability solutions.

Alexi’s appointment in Hong Kong positions him to lead ESC’s local team and support our regional business as we strive to deliver purpose-fit solutions for our clients. His substantial experience and international track record over more than 30 years will strengthen ESC’s local Hong Kong capabilities and support the company’s growth.

Prior to his appointment, Alexi was Managing Director, Hong Kong, and Regional Manager, North Asia, for a global engineering company, which under his leadership grew a thriving environmental business and achieved considerable success in winning major engineering infrastructure projects. Alexi will bring to ESC these same leadership skills and unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality of work, best value and the highest level of client care.

Of his appointment, Alexi said, “I am excited to be joining ESC as the company celebrates its first 20 years. To Hong Kong clients, old and new, I look forward to offering the wide range of environmental, safety and sustainability solutions that ESC is renowned for in the region. As Hong Kong roars back to life post-COVID, we will grow the best and brightest team of consultants to ensure that in the next 20 years, ESC will be even more successful in serving its clients and the region.”

In his role, Alexi will lead and support the development of ESC’s strategic growth agenda for its key business lines, including environmental impact assessment (EIA), environmental planning and assessment (EPA), solid waste management, land contamination, health & safety, renewable energy, and environmental and social governance (ESG).

As Managing Director, Alexi will hold a leadership role within ESC and be part of the company’s senior leadership team focused on developing ESC’s commercial growth, delivering innovative and insightful solutions for its clients, and attracting talented individuals.

Welcome to the ESC family, Alexi!
