ESC Sets its Sight on the Philippines with Strategic Appointment of Rhea Angelo

Philippines, January 28, 2025 – ESC, a leading environment, safety, and sustainability consultant in Asia, announces the appointment of Rhea Angelo as its new Associate Principal Consultant. This move supports ESC’s expansion in the Philippines and its ability to meet the growing demands of the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. With this appointment, ESC is poised to leverage emerging opportunities in environmental and social studies, as well as in process safety management following the recent implementation of the Philippine National Standard on Process Safety Management System (PNS 2186:2024).

 

Rhea Angelo, a seasoned expert with over 20 years of experience in environmental and process safety, will join ESC’s growing team in the Philippines. Rhea Angelo brings over two decades of rich experience in environmental and process safety disciplines. Her impressive background includes environmental impact and risk assessments, baseline studies, compliance monitoring, site assessments, and a comprehensive array of process safety services such as consequence modeling and risk assessment. She has been instrumental in numerous high-profile projects across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, contributing to successful outcomes in countries like the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, Namibia, Ghana, and Malaysia.

Rhea’s appointment also reinforces ESC’s Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) leadership team, where her international experience will be invaluable. As a key member of the ESIA leadership, Rhea will play a crucial role in enhancing ESC’s capacity to deliver innovative and effective solutions across various projects in the Philippines, ensuring they adhere to both local and international standards.
