ESC conducted Environmental Impact Study and Environmental Monitoring and Management Plan (EMMP) for the proposed Golf Course Redevelopment Project.
About the Project
The client is Singapore’s most established and largest golf and country club with premium facilities. The EIS identifies and describes all the elements of the community and environment likely to be affected by the project and the associated environmental constraints to and by the project, especially impact on fauna and flora due to the site sensitivity – located within the central catchment area, develops mitigation measures and management practices to reduce the impacts of the Project and proposes EMMP during the construction stage.
ESC prepared the EIS report, submitted to authorities for approval, as well as the EMMP for pre, during and post-construction of the golf course redevelopment. The EIS and EMMP aspects include water quality monitoring and reporting, noise and air quality, waste management, fauna management/handling plan, and flora protection plan during site clearance, as well as monitoring/ advising on human wildlife encounters or roadkill incidents etc.
The project started in 2008 and is ongoing.
