Job Description 
To support the Regional Finance Manager in overseeing regional finance and tax activities. Ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory and tax compliance, and effective day-to-day finance operations in line with group policies and local regulations.

 Job Responsibilities 

1. Financial Reporting
   • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close for regional entities
   • Review management accounts, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
   • Prepare consolidated management accounts and supporting schedules for group reporting
   • Ensure timely and accurate submission of regional financial reports
2. Finance Operations & Compliance
   • Oversee AR, AP, payroll, and cash management across regional entities
   • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, statutory, and tax compliance

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Process Improvement

Job Requirements 

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA) preferred
• 5–7 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a multinational or regional environment, with exposure to cross-border reporting, intercompany transactions, and multi-currency accounting

• Conduct specialised terrestrial ecology fieldwork and contribute to technical assessments and deliverables. 
• Manage fieldwork activities, including site surveys and sampling. 
• Analyse data and prepare technical reports, monitoring plans, and presentation materials.

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in ecology, botany, arboriculture, or a related discipline from a tertiary institution in the Hong Kong SAR, the wider GBA or South China. 
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, landscape planning and design, or land surveying in the Hong Kong SAR 
• Intimacy with terrestrial ecological field survey and supporting ecological impact assessment, management planning and monitoring in the Hong Kong SAR.

Job Description 

As a Senior Consultant at ESC, you will play a critical role in delivering high‑quality environmental, health, safety and sustainability consultancy services. Reporting to the Principal Consultant, you will lead and support local and regional due diligence assignments and environmental & social impact studies while contributing to our corporate sustainability advisory and sustainable finance service offering. You will be required to coordinate and manage projects, guide consultants and associate consultants, while ensuring technically robust, timely and client‑focused deliverables. You will also liaise with clients and authorities, support proposal and tender preparation and contribute to business development across ESC’s service lines. 

Job Responsibilities 

• Lead and manage ESG & HSE Due Diligence, including environmental, social, and health & safety diligence for investors, supporting M&A transactions, and portfolio-level advisory.  
• Lead and manage Corporate Sustainability Advisory services, such as ESG ratings and benchmarking, and/or climate- and nature-related (TCFD, TNFD) strategy, action plans and disclosures. 
• Manage tasks for Environmental & Social Impact Assessment studies to international lender standards ref. IFC PS, World Bank EHS and/or ADB.  
• Prepare high‑quality deliverables such as assessment reports and technical presentations, and effectively manage project schedules, budgets, and human resources. 
• Liaise with clients, multidisciplinary teams and government authorities to support regulatory compliance and project outcomes. 
• Mentor and guide Consultants and Associate Consultants, fostering capability development and knowledge sharing. 
• Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, opportunity scoping and building strong client relationships. 

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability or a related discipline; Master’s degree advantageous. 
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant consulting experience with finance sector and non-financial corporate clients. 
• Familiarity with sustainable financing frameworks, SPO methodology and reference frameworks, and related deliverables would be advantageous. 
• Demonstrated project coordination and management experience, including supporting multidisciplinary teams and managing subcontractors. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, with experience preparing technical reports, proposals and tenders.
