Singapore, June 2, 2026 – ESC is pleased to announce the appointment of Clive Mason as Senior Advisor, further strengthening the company’s advisory capabilities across sustainable finance, environmental and social risk management, and investment-related advisory services.
In this role, Clive will support ESC’s due diligence and advisory services across the finance sector, including engagement with development finance institutions (DFIs), international financial institutions (IFIs), and private sector investors. He will also provide strategic guidance across ESC’s finance and advisory work, supporting relationship development, proposal inputs, and senior-level advisory engagement across the region.
Clive brings more than 40 years of international experience including senior leadership and advisory roles with the World Bank Group, International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), as well as advisory work with organisations like BlackRock, ARCH Emerging Markets Partners, responsAbility Investments AG, and the Asian Development Bank.
Having worked across more than 100 countries spanning Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, Clive has extensive experience supporting banks, private equity funds, climate finance initiatives, renewable energy investments, and infrastructure-related projects. Beyond his finance and advisory work, he has also established and managed environmental agencies, consultancy businesses, and regional environmental technology initiatives across Singapore, Thailand, Dubai, and the UK.
Clive’s appointment reflects ESC’s continued focus on strengthening its regional and international advisory capabilities in support of complex environmental, social, sustainability, and investment-related projects across Asia Pacific and global markets.
