ESC has won a new project with a Singapore-based deep tech company that develops safe, scalable, and sustainable energy storage systems deployed across more than 11 countries. Under this appointment, ESC will develop and implement the Construction Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (CEMMP) for the company’s renewable energy project on Singapore’s southernmost island.
The project will replace the island’s existing diesel generator system with a cleaner and more efficient renewable energy solution. The design features a solar photovoltaic (PV) array as the main power source, supported by a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and a centralised Power Management System (PMS). These integrated systems will enable consistent renewable energy supply while significantly cutting carbon emissions and reducing environmental impact.
ESC will oversee environmental management throughout construction and implementation, ensuring all activities meet Singapore’s environmental standards and at the same time cost-efficient and practical. The CEMMP will guide the project team in applying sustainable construction practices, including waste management, and biodiversity protection, to safeguard the site’s delicate marine ecosystem.
